I don’t know why this is controversial, but am one of those people who has had the honor of being declared dead. While I have yet to be able to completely describe the experience, I found this calm understanding and serenity of life… and a happiness. Life made sense. It was as I could be aware of any conversation, any human experience. Then after awaking, I felt a feeling of disappointment and panic. It’s funny that’s the part I remember best now. But in my heart, I know that I am not afraid to die (again).
